Finished Hedman Install

Well, the head swap is almost done, just got to start it up and put exhaust on. Didn't want to start it with open headers, in case the rockers needed more adjusting.

These headers were a pain in the azz. All emissions previously removed and no AC and no AC/heater box.

Passenger side, had to remove the starter and went in ok.
Driver side, had to take off the oil filter, and hack a small chunk away from the A-arm

Had to dent a header tube in order for a spark plug to clear.

Putting plugs in was a joke too.

Weds, I will be finishing he exhaust install and crankin her up

Which tube did you have to dent to clear the plug? Do you have straight plug heads?

I had to dent the front primary tube on the # 1 cylinder I believe it was.
I have straight plug heads, but for some reason, the plugs angle down a bit, where as angle plug heads slant to the sides.

What do you have planned for the rest of the system under the car?

For now, it's just going to be S turns with pipes going into a Flowmaster Y-Collector into my Hooker cat-back , with no cat this time. Depending on how it performs I'll most likely stick with that.

its $250 for just the y pipe and then $25 for the adaptor. it cost me $327.53 shipped to my door but it took them forever to bill it and then send it. and as far as i know it only hooks up to the hooker supercomp long tubes.

and in those picks that just 2 pieces of the system theres more to it then just that of chorse
