Just wanted to know if anyone who ordered SLP Headers on the last GP received them yet? I have not and just wanted to know what was up. I heard they were mailed on the 16th of the month.

I got mine... but I had them shipped next day air. There was some huge foul up at SLP, plus they lost the initial order Jon sent in. SLP has the order and told me last week they would mail out on the 28th. Assuming that is true you should see them early next week.

 

yeah...I didnt get mine either I was gonna e-mail Jon soon, but lets see what happens. SLP is notorious for screw ups BTW....geesh I want my hedders!!!!

I haven't recived mine yet. But I did write an email to jon asking how long it should be but I haven't got a reply from him yet. But im really not in a hurry becase my car has been put away till March. This is the first big thing I have bought for my car and I can't wait to put them on.

Try calling SLP... I forget the name of Jon's contact there, but since no one can seem to get in touch with Jon, try skipping the middle man and go straight to the guys who will be/have mailed out the headers.

 

hey, if you look for the link about the header GP (its probably about a few pages back) it has a "flame" next to the topic you can see all the GP info that we got in on. his e-mail addy is there on that page too !!! check ot out!

uhh ohh....I might have some bad news on this. First of all **I am not sure exactly whats going on so don't take this for 100?% fact people**

I called SLP andpretty much got the scoop on this GP. Only one set of headers have been ordered by Jon on Nov. 21. I'm assuming it's the guy who said he got his already?? Anyway, in his defense, Jon's salesman from SLP has been out of town for a while and there is no records of our orders in the computers. "If there is nothing in the computer, nothing has been ordered yet"..this is what I was told. Apparently, the salseperson gets back on Monday so I will call again and see what's up. This really sucks...it has been a long *** time. I hope I get these by Christmas

Sorry for not getting back to you guys sooner. I was involved in a serious accident and totalled my Camaro. I haven't been able to do much lately.

SLP has all the orders and they should be shipped by the time you read this. The orders were sent back when I said they were. There was a problem with the first order and I resent it again on Wednesday (the day before Thanksgiving) After the accident I haven't been able to follow up on things. I called today and my sales rep is back and the orders are being shipped.

Sorry again for the delay. It was my fault. I wasn't able to follow up on it. Enjoy the headers and have a merry christmas.

I ordered headers on this GP, too, but just now noticed this thread. I was wondering what was going on since it has been almost a month since Jon said the headers were going to ship...guess I understand now. Hope you're OK, Jon.

Anyway, I'd still like to hear when people start receiving their headers. I'll post when I receive mine, too...thanks.

Hey I just wanted to let every one know that I got my headers today. I just got home and inspected everything and came right on to let you all know I got them. Its just too bad I can't put them on till spring. I hope eveyone else got theres too and if not maybe tommarow Derrick

My headers arrived yesterday...just wanted to let everyone know. They look awesome...I'll be putting them on over the holidays. Anybody else got theirs?

 

I got mine last Friday. Since I work 12 hours a day I don't have time for the install myself so at this very moment my ride is at the muffler shop getting the headers, y-pipe, and catco cat installed. If anyone is interested I'll post the price for the install when I get the T/A back tomorrow.

 

I got mine today I thought the y-pipe would be coated also I'll install after I have the y-pipe coated. Chris

 

got mine this past monday...alomost finished w/ the install!!
