hooker aerochambers

I was wondering if any of you guys have tried the hooker aerochamber mufflers.
If so what do you think of them?

I have one on a 305 with headers . It started life as pretty lound , and over the 4years i have had it , it was become even louder . Its a glass filled muffler so over time it will change sound . Hooker states it wont , but i disagree. Mine is kinda raspy , not a good sounding rasp , around 2k . I plan on buying a different muffler , maybe a spintech . the reason i bought this hooker was to be different from everyone else , but it seems that alot of people have them now , and mine is about wore out ( in my eyes , or should i say ears) . Oh and one more thing it was damn heavy when i installed it , but its probably lot lighter now .

I'm running true duals with 3 in. center in/out aerochambers on my car. It sounds really good. Kind of mellow at idle, but when you step on it, it gets loud. I would reccomend them, even for a single pipe setup.

They're kind of quiet at idle on a stock engine, but they aren't on a modified one.

i agree. i am running 2.5in true duals with aerochambers and they sounds great. mine are very deep at idle, they set off car alarms.

Mine aren't all that loud, but I still have the stock LG4 cam.
