Will my car run bad if i gut or insert a piece of straight pipe under my car? I know its illegel but im gonna do it. Someone told me it will run like garbage because a thing that goes back to the computer and reads stuff. How would i bypass that. I have a 91 firebird formula 305 tbi. And will it help either sound or performance wise?

 

Whoever said that was wrong. It wont effect anything. It might increase sound slightly and you could gain about 5 hp, if that.
