Im thinking about a 540BB in my 84z. I would like to find some large tube headers 2" to 2 1/2 primaries. hooker makes swap headers but i don't think they are shortys.

as far as i know there are only long tube headers offered for bbc swaps. for shorties and in a specific size your goin to have to find someone that will custom make u a set and it will cost either more or just about the same for bbc long tubes.

Sanderson Headers makes shortie style headers for a big block in a 3rd Gen. They require some creative hammer work on the floor of the car to make them fit on the passenger side, I beleive. Not alot, but enough to be a chore. The headers themselves are pretty sweet, but on the pricey side. Then you'll need a decent y-pipe. Hope that helps.

I thought Hooker, or Heddman makes "engine swap" headers for those, I know i have seen them in Jegs.

Here they are, dont think they are a shorty though, jegs' part#520-2226-1

got this website called Headers by design,it helped alot i might fab my own since i have all the tools and i cant find any long tube headers with 2" primarys.I know it would take a wile to make them but then i could make them equal length and since i got a AJE Kmember it should make it easyer.
