My question is will the y-pipe off of the Hooker 2055's fit up to my 92 RS or is it in a different position? I have heard that it might not.

Anyone heard of this situation? Is there an easy solution?

 

it'll work, you just need the matching cat and catback from an 86-90 tpi car.

 

so my stock cat will not be able to bolt up to it? Is that because of the flanges?

And if I do I can get an aftermarket cat and slp exhaust and that will work correct?

 

It wont bolt up to your existing cat because it's only 2 1/4 inches and the hooker y pipe is 3 inches. Yes if you get an aftermarket 3 inch cat and catback everything will fit.

Not bad, but I do have to say that you all take this stuff way to seriously.

I understand the whole part about him dissing f-bodies and I agree with you that it shouldn't be done.
