Anyone running these headers? and are they prone to rusting easily or is there a way to prevent it? i dont care if the turn blue at the exit of the heads. i just worry about rust.

I have had these headers for a while now, I think about 2 years. They look really good. Nice finish. They have not rusted on me yet. The nickel coating is supposed to prevent that. A decent header. Can I ask what these are going on?

With that much engine you should go with the 1-3/4" primaries. Ceramic coating would improve them even more.

Yea man, I would go with the SLP's with a ceramic coating. LT1 intake? Sounds pretty sweet. Good luck with it.

Paid for the SLP's 2 min ago, my car should go pretty good. im hoping to hit into the 12's with it. with the LT1 setup, iv got a complete TPI wiring setup with all sensors, gastank w/sending unit, computer burnt chip(John M. @lt1.com), i should be able to run pretty quick but who knows. also im waiting on my WS6 style hood thats now on backorder for 4 weeks!
