Help. I need a new sound.

I have a stock 305 and i have no muffler and a gutted cat . The thing sorta sounds like a truck. I dont like it really .It sounded real good when it was just the cat and no muffler . I also have two tips out the back. I gutted the cat in an attempt to make it louder, and i did do that . But it doesnt sound very good. What would make it sound good, im thinkin like a chambered muffler. and have it put into the intermediate pipe . I dont really care about flow im just looin for a sound. It did sound good with just the cat , but now i need some new sound.I think the chambered muffler is my best bet since it will fit under the car and by the driveshaft. Since i dont wanna do more exhaust work on it.

Borla's sound good, but then again so do Flowmasters, magnaflow's, hookers. you could try bullets or a race muffler.

oh, youll get a good rumble for em, they arent glass packs just a preforated tube inside a metal housing, i had em on my elky for years with side dumps right infront of the rear tires, heard it coming for almost a mile.
