Those arent side pipes. Those are side exit tips. The biggest thing is ground clearance. They may not be the best choice...

Sorry, nothing about that car does anything for me. Including the exhaust.

20's look plain silly. If he wants a Navigator, then he should buy a Navigator.

I have side exit exhaust like that and I hate it. It was sort of an emergency move on my part to get the car streetable on short notice. It is way to loud and the pipes might as well point in the window cause they sound like they do. not to mention they drag on every bump. If you raise them up to not drag they will burn the groundFX. Just a bad move I personally think.

Sorry to be so negative but I dont really like that camaro either. Not my style I suppose. Very nice work but racing stripes and 20's were not intended for use together. The pic was missing the mac10 spraying bullets from the passenger side window.

Forget the car, did you see the hideous color scheme he's got set up on that page? My eyes are on fire!

20" rims and side exit exhaust aren't my things, either.

I'd say going with a set of nice 18" five spoke wheels, and switching to a more normal exhaust system with dual exits and quad-exit tips would make it look considerably better. It IS unique though, I can say that. The amount of work he put into it is outrageous...gotta applaud that, no matter how it looks.

Would make a great hotwheels car. On a full sized vehicle, though, the rims, stripes, paint, cowl ind. hood, etc. all look silly and out of proportion.

did anyone notice the large step/gap between the front plastic and the fiberglass hood. My glass hood does the same thing but this guy seems to be a perfectionist. I am shocked that he would let that happen on a car with such a perfect body. Kind of makes me not feel so bad that mine does that too.

I have to admit the remote gas door is a cool idea. And the Lexan rear hatch is cool. did he say 20lbs. that would probably go into orbit with stock hatch shocks.

Only things i see wrong is the hood gap/overlap, and that the stripes are too close in the middle. But then again, i might be "ghetto" and want a navigator.

Those wheels and stripes are just... wrong. They shouldn't have painted them all the way down the car and the 20's are just plain ugly. I love side exhaust, but it is too loud for daily use. My brother had side exhaust on his truck, and the droning was enough to make you want to slit your wrists. If I could find a way to have mufflers (that actually muffle some) and ground clearance plus get the tips to exit THROUGH the ground effects (like a Viper) I'd do it. As it is though, I have squat for clearance and I will not be attempting this deal.

Now that is a bad *** car. Do you know who makes the hood on that? I know ASC makes a SS hood but it looks more square and low profile than that one.

As for the car this thread is about, I love the interior, think the striped look a little funny, and the wheels are not too bad.

I think it's a Big Block Hood, not an SS.

the stripes are too wide and too long, rims are pointlessly large, one pothole can take out a rim(s) and exhaust, car has no AC or heat. I will give the guy credit. He put a lot of work into the car, im sure he feels it paid off. If i had that car , to me it would be an oversized Dubs City car, that could only be driven on a perfectly flat even road, during a temp that wouldnt require the use of any form of climate control asid from the 2/65 Ac he has.

I have no A/C or heat in mine....

but i don't drive it when it's cold and when it's hot... power windows, and i've been known to take off the hatch glass for a nice tunnel effect.

wonder what times this car runs, with all his weight savings and 4" cowl hood he must be in the 11's... doubtful. If you want your car to stand out, like this one does you better be able to back it up. I just don't understand big gowdy cowl hoods when theres nothing underneath the cowl. I guess i'm partial to functionality.

Wow, I really like how clean that thing is! The rims are too much... and I can't really read anything on the page, but wicked cool none-the-less.

And all that Dynamat! Lexan hatch! And it actually has engine mods too!! lol

I would like to see a 3rd gen with some of those JC Whitney sidepipes! (so I could laugh at the 'vette wannabe )
Pic of sidepipes I mean
