Problem after header install
so i installed a set of hedman shorties and y pipe last week. got it done and took it for a drive and when you take off from idle it has a very very bad stumble. so much so that the car almost dies. this mainly happens at about 2k rpms or less. anything above that and the car pulls like it should all the way to about 5500 where i shift.
what should i look for? all the sensors should be properly connected, all the plug wires are on the correct plugs as far as i know (did the job twice to make sure). it is running an open y pipe and the smog stuff has been taken off. what should i look for?
i also noticed an SES as soon as i start the car but i thought that it would be for the smog stuff not being there.

Try removing the cap on the distributor check if the rotor and cap are in good condition. Mine did the same thing when I installed my 1 5/8 slp headers on my 92 RS.
