Y-pipe & cherry bombs ??
What would that do for me ? i.e. replacing the stock muffler with a Y-pipe and two cheapo cherry bombs
I gotta admitt one thing here ... never really understood the cherry bomb thing 100 percent .. are they loud ALL the time ... or .. loud at idle.. and quiet while cranked up ?
Stock muffler is WAY too restrictive for me *l*

first, splitting the exhaust between two mufflers isnt gonna really increase your power, especially if its after the long stretch of single exhaust tubing.....
second, i'd consider something other than Cherry Bomb's just because for the same $$ ya can probably get something that flows AND sounds better......
My friend put a cherry bomb "Turbo 2" muffler on his Grand Am (lol) and it was pretty loud at idle (well, compared to stock, lol)

depends on what sorta sound your looking for :-P
right now i'm trying to find out about the Flowtech Afterburner......
PEople love the Hooker muffler, but its on the quiet side in my opinion
flowmaster seems to be "old faithful", though i'm not a big fan of the flowmaster tone
spintech seems to be the up and coming muffler of choice for some people.....
Unfortunatly, there are so many mufflers ou there that its just a matter of what sound your after (which makes it very hard to decide, lol)

loudest, best flowing, and cheapest would PROBABLY be like the dynomax bullets, but thats more of a race muffler than a street muffler
depends on how loud ya like it, which is the problem with discussing mufflers online...its all a matter of preference :-)
