Im looking to buy some headers for my car and ive read that the 2055's are a real good buy. The thing is though that my car is dual cat equiped and i want to keep that set up, so what my question is can you get those headers with a y-pipe for that setup or do you have to have a custom one. If you have to have a custom one, how would i go about doing that?

Hooker’s dual cat setup is part number 2056 but you have to call them to confirm if they still produce them. But if you go with 2055's you will save money cause you have 1 less cat to buy.

 

Sorry to bring this one back up from the dead, but I was wondering if the actual headers from the 2056's and the 2055's were the same. I made a mistake and ordered the wrong ones. The 2056's come with a Y-pipe for dual cat cars and if they are the same I can hopefully just order the y-pipe straight from hooker. Any ideas? Heres picture of the set up.

 

i honestly believe the 2056's are the a.i.r. tube versions of the 2055's.but let me check.............

well,i've seen wierder stuff online,but the only reference holley gives to part #2056 is for a brake line splitter!these could be older model headers or you could have an outdated part #maybe?

2056 is dual cat. I thought they were discontinued by hooker. It's not in their catalogs anymore.

 

when i contacted hooker about just ordering a dual cat y-pipe they said the headers for 2055 and 2056 were different but you should call and make sure..

 

Do you know if they will fill a 2056 order?

 

not sure i called almost 8months ago so i couldnt tell ya if they still will or not. But seeing the above member has some i think they might.

 

Ah, silly me. I thought he had 2055s and wanted 2056s.
