Opps forgot about the air tubes, never had that crap on my car(of course now my inspection sticker is about a year and half out). By bad, but my headers do look bitchin, well at least compared to the flowtechs anyway, here is a pic with the flowtechs

Thanks!
It should go in nice with the Hotchkis TVS System I just got. I posted some pics on the suspension board.
wow...i just drove the camaro for the first time with open headers. You can feel the car in your chest, it makes your whole body shake. It was so loud...i drove around my neighborhood and some lady mowing her lawn stopped and put her arms at her side with a dirty look on her face. HAHA!!!

One thing that will save you a ton of money at the pump is to ditch those one way valves and get pipe caps
They allow lots of air to come into the exhaust and make the O2 see a false lean condition.
Also, what I like to do is to run wire looms on the valve covers and drop the wires down behind the air tubes. I also use a section of split silicone shething from one of the old wires to protect the spark plug wire where the AIR tubes contact it. Heres a pic. Not the best one to show this but it gives you the general idea. Leaving the wires up around the primaries with all the heat will damage the silicone sheathing after awhile if they come in close contact.

You can also use the brass caps. IIRC, theyre 1/2" NPT pipe caps. Any hardware store should have them.
i like gooooooooold
(actually its just brass but oh well...)
i got these brass 1/2 inch "pipe" cap from ACE hardware and they fit perfectly..no more one-way valve leak

and just for fun (lol, you can see the oid AIR tube on the right)

IIRC, the ones on my LO3, with the exception of the breather and such, where symetrical. It may vary. Ill have to check later.

3rd gen shorties are easier to install and are a direct bolt on, if you want to call it that. Long tubes will require a custom y-pipe and othe items to get them in.

On a side note, thankfully they are. I swapped the drivers and pass. side valve covers so they would fit and not be obstructed by the stuff over top of them.
