hedman lt pics

I've been gathering ideas for my dual exhaust set up. I've seen a lot of good pics, but not exactly what I'm looking for. Does anyone have a clear pic of the hedman long tube collectors? From what I can tell they run along the tranny, inside the frames and stop just before the VSS. Is this correct?

Ok, so can I run pipe straight back, or will the crossmember interfere? Will the hedman s-extensions clear the crossmember if I go under it?

Ok now I'm starting to get a better idea of what to do. Looks like the major obstacle is the crossmember. It looks like the s- extensions will work. After seeing the pics though I might just hack up my crossmember and run straight pipe. Any suggestions? I'd like to do this as cheaply as possible so I'm trying to keep it outta the muffler shop.

If you have an automatic you might not have a lot of room to run pipe after you hack the crossmember. The shift cable especially won't like being too close to the exhaust.

So the best route would be under the crossmember?

Under the crossmember, or around the frame rails in the front. However you can manage it.

It's not that hacking the crossmember won't work, but you'll have to look at how much more clearance you'll actually get to see if it's worth it.

Check it out........ The crossmember for the tranny will get in the way! I know mine is a single system, but you'll run into the same problem. The pipes gotta go under the crossmember. I'm gonna fab my own crossmember
