To be more specific, glass packs. The cherry bombs may sound nice but with a louvered core(just like any other louvered core glasspack) they don't flow as well as one would think. The louvers(raised bumps) interupt flow and decrease velocity. On the other hand there are glasspacks with a perforated core that is pretty much straight through with holes in the core. Perforated cores will flow almost as good as an open pipe. Depending on whether you stay single(exhaust that is) or convert to a true dual the sound will differentiate. A dual sounds better from idle all the way to the top end, but ground clearance is an issue, which may or may not affect you. Another choice is a turbo muffler which will rumble too but not be as loud, but then again a glasspack may be too loud(yes thats a possibility, for most people anyways). If its of any help I will be converting to a true dual with glasspacks and side exits before the rear tires.

heres a suggestion. if you drive the car a lot on the street, go with something a bit quieter. i say this because a loud car is just that, loud. ive read some info on make MORE hp with a quiet exhaust versus a loud one so loud doesnt always mean faster. also it gets quite old driving around sounding like an NHRA car. right now my car is pretty much open headers and i cant wait for the day i get the exhaust welded back together.
