Problems w/ Tailpipe Fitment!! Help!
Ok i have the Hooker catback in my basement ready to be installed. I bought the Dynomax direct fit turndown tailpipes for the kit, seeing as i dont like any time of flashy exhaust tips. The problem i recently realized is that the muffler outlets have an OD of 2.5 inches, whereas the dynomax tailpipes also have an OD of 2.5...so they dont really fit.
I have 2 questions: More than likely i'm going to be taking my car to an exhaust shop to have it installed, so i would assume they would have no problem fitting the tailpipes on the muffler, correct? But if i do choose to install it at home, is there anyway to install the tailpipes correctly??
and btw, i already sold the hooker tailpipes and tips to my friend..so i cant put them on.

If you take it to an exhaust shop they will have no problem installing the tailpipes. They should have a machine that can expand the pipe.

If you'd prefer to install them yourself and save the cost of having a shop install them, then just take the tailpipes and have the inlet expanded to 2.5" ID(which they probably should've been already because they should've been made to fit 2.5" OD muffler outlets). The shop will probably charge you $5-$10 each to expand them, then take them home and install them.
