Will car pass emisions with longtubes?

Will car pass emisions with longtubes?

Hello

I have the factory manifolds and just bought some longtube hedman headers.
if i install them and yank out the factory manifolds will my car pass an e test?

visual no way.
anything can pass the sniffer with tuning work.

Ok, maybe you should rethink your statement just a little. In stock form, if you have a visual inspection, no, you will not pass. Now this is not to say that you cannot make them pass a visual inspection. If your car has an air system on it currently, then all you need to do is have at least 1 line going into each bank of the headers. In other words 1 line on each side. Granted the factory had it set up with a line going to each pipe but as they found out this was over kill and not needed. Check out the LT1 headers for proof. So in the end, with a little creativity and probably $100 for tubing and labor, you'll be able to pass a visual inspection.

Hopefully that's what you were lookin for.
