Header gasket suggestions please!
I just installed CA SMOG legal Edlebrock headers on the IROC but used a paper "Mr. Gasket Co." gasket. I'm sure it's gonna leak from the few people I've talked to. I know I have to re-tourque them tomorro, but if I choose to replace the gasket, any suggestions for a worth while long lasting gasket? Thanks, Daniel U

NAPA sells a set of soft core metal header gasket and they totally kick ***! They are a lil steep in price but never leak! I dont remember the part number right off hand but I will look tomarrow and see if I have it in my tool box I always carry a couple of spares.

I tried the copper 'seal for life' gaskets and I'm not impressed. didn't seal my slps when I had a thirdgen.

I used the steel/cardboard gaskets made for iron exhaust manifolds. They work great with headers too.
