Exhaust tips for 91-92 T/A's and GTA's
Has anyone come up with a set of exhaust tips that look good...or even marginally OK?

That is a great question and something I have been wondering myself. I currently have dual exhaust with 2 tips on each side. It looks okay, but almost too much. I think camaros look great with large tipped dual exhaust but I am not sure how it would look with the 91' - 92' ground effects. I almost want to cut holes in the bottom of the back bumper and have the exhaust tips come through the bottom of the bumper.

i personally like the exhaust tips that are non existent. i took mine into a single out and had it tucked up as high as possible to where you can not see it from a level point. But i have never seen tips that look "great" out the back

I've never liked the way tips look on our cars, with such a flat bottom on our rear bumpers. So, I thought a of the 4th gen WS6 rear bumper section...

Yeah, it's a quickie photoshop job I did. I've worked on detailing it, because of the pinkish tint to the 4th gen section. If you look at my avatar, I have the dark grey/black version I did there. I even played with making the rear wing black with the 4th gen section.
I need to compare the curvature of the 3rd vs 4th gen rears, to see if it is even possible. If not, I'll find a stock cutout on some car, cut out and pair, and transplant them...Some day...

I was going to use the 2nd gen tips but couldn't get myself to like them looking at the back of the car. They hung down way too much. The side profile though, looked awesome! Now I just have 1 tip tucked up as far as it can go, painted black and running a Dynomax Bullet

Well they are not as much a bolt on as one would think. In order to get things to line up correctly I had to make custom tail pipes for the muffler. The original tail pipes that came with the Aero chamber muffler line up with some rails on the back of the car, in order to give you something to hang the exhaust from. To get them tucked I had to shorten the pipes and bend them tighter, and make new hangers. Really not all that bad, but it was one of those five minute jobs that turned into a weekend.
