I had flowmaster 80 seriers cat back on my car i loved the sound. But all my friends told me to straight pipe it. And being young with money i did. I loved the idle sound and power gains but all to offten i get people telling me it sounds like crap. They say like a rusty old truck exhaust of a nascar. I cant decide to put the muffler back on or leave it straight piped what do you guys think?

PUT A ONE CHAMBER FLOWMASTER ON IT, IT WILL ELIMINATE SO MUCH BACK PRESSURE LOSS AND STILL GIVE OFF A GOOD RUMBLE TO KEEP YOU HAPPY.

I allso noticed the straight pipe is messing with my O2 sensor my car lopes at idle when its warm. I can turn of the O2 sensor then it stops. So im guesing theres not enough back pressure for the coputer to get a good reading

Might be a bad 02, when you dissconnect the 02 it will go to a rich condition also.
