Anybody have problems installing these headers? I need to get a set of headers and don't need to spend extreme amounts of money on the exhaust because my motor isn't far from stock. I just neet something that will fit without extreme modifications

Don't recall anybody singing their praises. Plenty of complaints, though.

I've got heddmans on my car and they fit well except that my finned aluminum oil pan interferes with the y-pipe. Plenty of people like the Hooker stuff too.

They look identical to the summit brand headers I have, the way they bend and the specs. I had no problem installing mine. Just had to remove smog and AC to get into that area, and brought one from the bottom of the car up. Paint will flake though, I suggest scuffing it up and spraying on hi temp paint...even that will go eventually, but you can keep re-coating them to keep it looking decent.

Too bad you didn't reply yesterday! lol
I went ahead and ordered a set of hooker 2460s yesterday.
since i've read on this site that they fit good.
Lets hope everything works out for me. Since the whole aftermarket fender situation worked out great...not

The Hookers went on great. I can't wait until its light out tomorrow (no garage) so I can throw the new wires on and fire it up

Nice nice man, hope it all works out for you. Just make sure you don't have any wires touching them headers.

Wow, my car sounds completely different. Those stock manifolds and y - pipe sound terrible compared to what it sounds like now! Time to set up an appointment to get the rest of the exhaust put on.
Lol, I'm glad I had that heat resistant plastic wire protector on my temp gauge wire. It fell onto the header after I shut it off. Appearantly that stuff can't take the heat....sorry had to throw a pun in there!
Time to wire the fan, install the wiper motor, figure out how to get the heater controls to work. Then this year long project will finally see some road time
