hedman 68460 long tubes

Axle/Gears: 4.10 10bolt mini spool
hedman 68460 long tubes
Can anybody tell me why these will not work in a 5-speed car???
foot not from hedman limits trans to th700r4 or th350. "tech support"
at hedman cant seem to tell me what the will be with a manual.
Cant be shift linkage----its a toploader for cryn out load.

Thank you for what Hedman could not tell me. Would have thought that the collector would be lower than that. I guess that leaves me with the over priced Hookers or a custom job. Do the Hooker full length (#2210 I think it is) clear everything or is that gonna bite me too?
