I am oputting on ROH snypers on tomorrow so I will post some more with that on. If you have any questions and I will be able to help. I usually ask all the questions so now itll be nice to return the favor

Re: finalyy instal of doug's LT 1 3/4 headers

I've been looking at Dougs headers for a while and was actually going to post here today and ask if anyone had any experience with them. They look great on your car. The price seems pretty good, how's the quality? What kind of y-pipe did you use, or did you go with duals all the way back? Is your car lowered at all? Sorry for all the questions, I figured you would know.

Re: finalyy instal of doug's LT 1 3/4 headers

indeed, be prepared for questions lol

they look great and clearance looks adequate, especially for my lowered car. I think they would work great for me as i'm in the market for some headers

Any clearancing problems during install? does quality look good? Pipe thickness good?

Clearance is fine. Be prepared to jack your car extremely high. Only way to get in the driver side header. Great tone. I got a custom y pipe and it is great. The y pipe isa long one. Great power increase. I would suggest tem to anyone

Any pics of the rest of the exhaust? I'd like to see the y-pipe and your muffler set up.

BTW these rims and all are not cleaned. I just threw them on and let my car stay dirty. Hopefully tomorrow i get to wash the thing

Re: finalyy instal of doug's LT 1 3/4 headers

hahaha I have asked way more questions. I changed my starter to a lt1 starter instead. It is much smaller and it made install ten times easier on myself. 540 for headers shipped. Then 125 for mini starter, and 100 bux for weld job and y pipe.

Those are nice, did you get them from a distributor or factory direct? When are the pictures of the y-pipe coming?

Re: finalyy instal of doug's LT 1 3/4 headers

Project x is my "experimental" third gen that is currently in the barn. I always have at least one "x" car that receives many different engine/trans experiments as time goes by. My last one had to stay behind when I left CA so I had to get another!

I would never suggest anyone drop their cars, i have an rs that is dropped and the ride is so rough, and it scrapes on damn near everything making it a PITA to drive. It looks really cool though, but IMO not worth the agrivation.

all depends on how you drop it and what springs/shocks you choose. My car is dropped and rides just fine

Re: finalyy instal of doug's LT 1 3/4 headers

Exactly. My car is lowered and handles 10x better. Mind you I have alot more suspension mods but I would bet even with dropping the car an inch with some upgraded shocks/struts, it would handle like it was on rails.
