Manifold plugs?

Ok guys so I got my delete pulley and Im ready to take my air pump off but I dont want to crimp the tubes to the manifolds incase I ever have to put them back on. Is there a certain kind of plug that I need to use to plug up the manifold holes? I was thinking I could use something like this. Would that work?

Re: Manifold plugs?

If the plug fits, why not? The check valve should prevent exhaust from back flowing if you want to or need to leave the air tubes attached to the manifolds. Those manifold fittings are hard to get off without damage..
Good luck!

Re: Manifold plugs?

That should work. I remember a while back someone did that same thing and i think they were 1/4 inch plugs. Get yourself some penitrating oil, when the engine is cool of course, and let them soak. The air tubes should come off no problem. Good luck!

Thread size. Go to any Home Depot/Lowes/Tru Value, and they'll have them with all the nuts/screws/bolts.

If you want them flush, get the ones with a recessed hex head. The type you use a allen key with.
