people with 2210's please look

I'm having problem getting the passenger side slip tube to seal up and stop leaking where it sits in the header. I noticed that it really only sits in the header like a 1/16 of an inch. I RTV'd the crap out of it and put a clamp around it and havn't started it up yet. I hope it works because it's driving me nuts. Anyone have any similar experiences.

To be honest, the hole pass side 2210 is leakey all together. I've tried every gasket and I just RTV's that all up last night as well.

I've always used anti-sieze on the slip tube and never had a problem. Sounds like yours may fit too loosely.

Does your car leave in the air like that on a low eleven pass? I have a simliar car and will be running a real similar combo. Hows the 350 trans from coan holding up?

Yes it leaves like that on low 11 sec passes, it should go high 10's pretty easy with 123+ trap speeds I've had. I can never seem to make it to the track in good weather and good track prep conditions, I only race a few times a year normally.
The coan trans lasted about 5 years and started to slip late last year, it lasted a long time and took a lot of abuse so I can't complain too much. But I was disappointed when it was taken apart to see that it was almost completly stock other than the valve body, I'm lucky that it lasted so long. Stock friction discs, stock sprag, ect...not good for a "competition series" trans in my opinion.
This time I had A&A build my trans and install a trans brake, I broke the trans on the first pass on the brake. I just got the car put back together when the race season ended so I don't have any good transbrake passes yet. Thankfully A&A stood behind their stuff and completly rebuilt it for free, excellent company to deal with considering the circumstances.

Don't worry, It's probably not the trans builders fault. T-350's are just un- predictable and not always the best trans for race use. I was just wondering about Coans because they advertise some stout turbo 350's and wanted to hear some opinions.

I've used this for the slip joint, no leaks here.

That's what I used as well, although, I dont understand why it would only slip in 1/16th inch, I think you should look into that, mine slipped in at least an inch and a half.

as for the main gasket, I'm using a cruddy fel pro one now that I cut a little as to not restrict my flow. But I have also used copper ones, both without leaks. Make sure those bolts are tight, they like to back out.
