This should probably be in Tech/General Engine instead of Exhaust.

As far as I know, the TPI cars were all built the exact same way, meaning there is no difference between CA emissions or Federal emissions. I dont know why Autozone lists two different part numbers, but I would look at both of them before I bought one.

RPO codes are NB2 for California Emissions, and NA5 for Federal Emissions. But your profile says you live in Florida...
Being built in Van Nuys wouldn't have had anything to do with emissions. The determining factor was the state the car was built for.
TPIparts.net shows 3 different EGR valves used on TPI engines from '85-'92. None, however, are based on CA or Fed emissions, but simply on engine/year. And the only one shown for your car matches the Fed emission valve shown by AutoZone in your link.

Edit: well, the tpi site doesn't SAY yours is the same one as the Fed. It says yours is the same one as used on '87-'89 350 TPIs. And checking AutoZone for those 350s, they show only one valve, and it's the same one as the Fed they showed for your car. Clear as mud?

I believe that the emissions is based off the year of the car not the engine.
so if you Camaro is a 1982, then you need to meet the standards for 1982, not for the 2016 engine that you put in the car.
