Will these fit?

I have a 350 5.7 stock engine and wonder what information I will need to pick the right size headers for my car like exhaust collector and all that fun stuff. Will the headers below fit?

Re: Will these fit?

They will but if you want to keep emission compliant, those headers don't have the A.I.R fittings. If you don't care then yes might as well get those or the Hookers (pn 2640HKR) but if you want to be compliant, get these: 2055HKR.

They will "fit", but modifications to most everything they touch will be required.

The Hooker 2055HKR's are the better value.

Is there any place I can get them for a decent price. $450+ is kinda outrageous

Re: Will these fit?

Could shop around your local speed shops or even hit up ebay, check kijiji or even our boards for a used set. Hookers are worth the money in my eyes. I've had a few Hedman sets and none of them had the fit the Hookers did. Even removing the bolts off the Hooker flanges were 10x better and easier then the Hedman's so I wouldn't compromise.

I'm switching to Hedman long tubes this year so I will see what the fitment is like but my current Hooker shorties pn 2460HKR are amazing.

305 and 350 use all the same exhaust parts. Anything that will bolt onto a 305 will bolt onto a 350.

The story with the 2460HKR is the same as with the Hedmans - you need to modify the exhaust to get them installed.

When you start paying an exhaust shop to modify exhaust, $450 for a set you can bolt in yourself will start looking downright cheap.

Im not putting them on and my friends dad will put them on for only $50 (He's getting more jobs to do on my car so he discounts me a lot). I pay for supplys, he puts on.

Re: Will these fit?

As it says in my sticky post at the top of this forum "What are the best headers, what's the best exhaust?"

Hooker 2055's 1 5/8" headers or Dyno Don's 1 3/4" headers. You can search this board for "dyno don headers" for pics and info on them, and PM him for details.

Just remember, there is no such thing as cheap and good. You get what you pay for.
