I guess this isn't a daily driver? A setup like that would be ok for the track, I assume you will be dumping before the axle? Would be very hard to do, as others have demonstrated, and keep much ground clearance. The best solution I've seen ground clearance wise is with shorties and running both pipes down the passanger side.. Anyway with a good enough custom exhaust shop almost anything is possible.. Still I'd personally shy away from trying a street legal dual exhaust system on one of these cars if ground clearance is and concern..

Here's a good link for you, this guy did just what you're talking about, think he spent a small fortune on it as well, and still doesn't have the best ground clearance.. but it IS possible.. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/exha...ve-3-true.html

regular 40s are the loudest flow they make they have a really deep drone to them and are loud under throttle they are your best bang for your buck if you have shortys you wont be able to run three inch tubing because the way the driver side header is built it will make it to were if you go down a hill you will scrape. i have 2.5 inch and everytime i go over a bump im out of my seat waitin for it to go bang.

if you do go with dual exhaust, do yourself a favor and get 2.25" or 2.5" exhaust, dual 2.5" is more than enough to support 500HP.
