stock y pipe replacement?

stock y pipe replacement?

i need a new y pipe for my 87 ta, stock manifold, 5.7 700r.
where can i find a replacement y pipe?
mine has a couple of seam splits, and needs replaced,and not ready for headers yet.thanks.

If it's in good shape other than the split seams,you might have better luck having it welded.

Make sure it's in stock before you order. Seems I recall that there was a problem a while ago.

yes james, they do not have one, dont know when they will have any, or any shipping dates,
sooo, ive ordered one from jegs, looks to be the same, ships today,hope this works.

reset computer after exhaust?

Does the computer need to relearn after exhaust install?

In Feb had a magnaflow cat-back installed. Car did not move miles since mid may. Then I had a new Y-pie put in a cats cut out.

Car is slower now--have drag raced to confirm this. I figure it can be the exhaust or it can't be---but thought the computer might be possibility.

got the y pipe in from jegs, looks good, and the fitment is very good.

What is the part number on this y-pipe. nad is that a cat delete pipe you ordered or made?? If ordered from where and part number please.
