Hi,
Just looking for stock for my 89 TTA. Not sure if they are the same as regular TA or Camaros or if they are specific to TTA's/GN's.
Here is a Pic of one:

Joe is correct. Most stock cats on our cars were very restrictive compared to modern aftermarket cats.

Check Jegs or Summit out for a stock DIRECT replacement Catco Cat....Should be under $200 for a high flow one.
Note: I did NOT say a Universal one size fits all.

im not a pro with this one, but that does not look like the cats the v8 cars used, it may be different.
i checked through summit, and the 3.8 tta was not an option for any of their cats.

The Hot setup is to run duals with Dynotech 2.5 inlet outlet Hi Po cats. This is the link to the 3 inchers which are the same only bigger. You don't need the 3 with duals.

My 84z has the same exact cat, or rather did until yesterday. I think they were basically what the 80's Vettes used. Seems liek I read that somewhere before. not sure if it was an option. I could be wrong tho. Probably shitty none the less.

I did not read that it was for a Turbo V6. I really do not think you are going to find the exact Cat. But knowning GM there may be nothing special about it. I would look for a Hi- flow one with about the same dimensions. Or is it time to replace your enitire exhaust system from engine back???

My guess is, you are looking for a STOCK, OEM duplicate, to retain originality and/or show points, for a limited edition, TTA?
People seem to like to tell others what THEY think they should do, rather than just answering the persons question & letting the person do their own car, their way.
