So i just installed a set of longtube hooker super competiton headers with some 3 inch piping and flowmaster outlaw series mufflers. It sounds sweet, not to loud but not that quite either. The headers fit like a glove, works with the stock giant starter also. No trimming, no hammering or anything. I gotta make hangers for the mufflers and thats it. Pics to come tomorow

Are you running a close to stock 350 ? Super comp headers and 3 in true duels are over kill unless your making some nasty power.

 

close to stock 350, but planning on building a 406 sbc with a nice heads, cam, intake setup this summer for it so i dont care if its overkill, cause it sounds awesome. I know im prolly losin power, but it just sounds so good. Its not like i paid for the exhaust setup either, it was a barter with a friend, only reason why i did the install and got the system. Im happy with it, and when the new motor goes in, it will be a perfect setup. When you get such a good deal, you dont pass it up, like this so i had to do it, plus my exhaust was really shitty on my car.

dont mind my ghetto upper rad hose, got a new one just need to install it and all the wires will get cleaned up also.

Whatever floats your boat. The idle doesnt sound the greatest maybe its the camera.Sounds like an exhaust leak in there 2.

 

Looks like you will be burning some plug wires soon.

 

the camera sucks and the idle sucks cause the car still has to be timed and carb rebuilt and adjusted also. No leaks yet. I havent spent to much time on her, cause ive been workin on my mustang.
