Really need some input on this..

Alright I have a 1990 firebird 350 TPI..stock motor but not the original..Anyways i have a question about my exhaust and the cheapest way i can achieve this. Im running a flow master single inlet dual outlet. Im not sure what series b/c it was on it when i got it. Although im pretty sure it's a 40's series. I have been wondering how much of a difference the super 44 flowmaster would make sound wise. My car sounds decent already but im just wondering if the super 44 would be a little louder and a little more aggressive? and i just planned on swapping my current one with super 44 and thats all until im not on a slim budget.. So would that show difference? and if not is there any others that would make a difference by just swapping the muffler?? (for the time being) Thanks for your help

From personal experience, I prefer the sound of the Hooker Aerochamber muffler to the Flowmasters', but that's my preference. However, flowmaster aren't known for being the best flowing muffleres, so yet another reason I went with the Hooker over the flowmasters.

+1 I have a hooker aerochamber on mine with hooker headers. Summit has them cheap and they sound great. I can shoot a video if you want to hear what it sounds like.

Mufflers do two things, affect the "sound" and the airflow of the exhaust. Getting the right muffler will help airflow and thus HP/TQ. Each muffler has a unique sound, some are louder than the others.

As previously stated, I like the Aerochambers because they have a good rumble but don't drone and aren't overly loud at idle, but when I get on it it really roars.

How much they go for? ok im mainly looking for the type of muffler that when, lets say your rolling through parking lot and you see heads turn to look what it is, know what i mean? maybe i have that now but idrk
