Dyno Don's Headers
We picked up the Trans Am today at Waldwick Auto Repair in Waldwick N.J. Chuck over there helped us mate Don's Y pipe to the Magnaflow cats etc. If anyone is wondering there are two things I notice. 1, the car runs much stronger and has an increased rev range and 2. It is quieter... Strange huh? The car is very stealthy. If you live in or near Bergen County NJ please call on Chuck over in Waldwick. The shop is on Prospect ave and the work was first rate and priced very fairly. He is very good at what he does and he has a bender. Merry Christmas everybody.

Pictures to come. She's getting a bath today and some good driving time. :0)
Re: Dyno Don's Headers
a well tuned exhaust will sound great. i have heard them being quieter all the time.
you have to remember that an exhaust system is a not a constant flow of hot air but pulses of hot air that need to exit in unison for it to be correct for the power.

I burned about 30 dollars in super today listening to her sing to me. She's so much fun to run with.

Yes, send me a PM for details.
Re: Dyno Don's Headers
Or the Tri y's Sanderson made for Mecham cars, people laugh when they see the 1 1/2" primary's and 2 1/4" collectors. I then show them the dyno sheets from these headers made 446 hp on there 406 and hooker 1 3/4" Long Tubes on same engine made 419 hp.
I have an extra set of the Sanderson ones, been thinking of making a jig and reproducing them.
