Are you running a cat? Flowmasters don't seem to like cat's if you want to get a good sound out of them I had the Flow 40's on my old 5.0 Foxbody and with the cated H-pipe they were not loud at all, but once I got the catless H-pipe they sounded real good evern with tailpipes. I had the SS 40 Delta flows on my mild 307 Nova last year, 2.5" with Headman long tubes dumped in fornt of the rear axle and it sounded good! I just have a Summit Racing 24" glass pack in place of the cat with about a 1 foot spout off it and it don't sound bad at all on my stock LB9. If you don't mind not having 2 tips at the rear you could run a Flowmaster 10 1 chamder from the mid pipe in the stock location and just run a dump off it so the single exit would not been seen. Mufflers are a tricky thing to pick out as you know how you want your car to sound in your head, but alot of times that's not how they sound in real life.
