It can be done but you will have to find a different upper Panhard bar

Honestly for a 305 you do not need 3 inches. 2.5 Will be more than enough.

Also with 2.5 you do not have to do anything different and THEY WILL go over the rear axel on the passanger side.

Re: dual exhaust problems

Right. Those are clearly 2.5"... 3" is really pretty tight as a single. Dual 3" could probably be made to work by someone really good but if i owned a shop I'd stay away because of the hassle and time involved unless I knew that the customer was willing to pay way too much (to cover the time fussing with it) for something that would likely never fit quite right. A lowered pan hard brace or dumps before the axle would help enormously

many have.

im in the middle of it know its just incredibly hard. i have it mocked up now with flexible pipe, there is room to go over each side of the axle like a traditional dual pipe setup. mine will have the mufflers where the stock tailpipes were and i will be able to get the tank down without messing with exhaust

Re: dual exhaust problems

Yup, your exhaust guy is correct, you can't do dual 3" exhaust over the axle, thru 2 mufflers and have 2 tail pipes at all.https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/post...3-post428.html

Buuut to do it properly you'll have atleast, atleast, $1,000 - $2,000 to have it done correctly.

Most will not take the time to do it right.

Re: dual exhaust problems

A good quality single 3" catback with dual/single tail pipes will be just fine for your needs.
