Need help identifying headers/y-pipe.
Hello Thirdgen.org, I have an 85 IROC that the PO put Hooker Supercomp headers on, and my y-pipe decided that it loved the Michigan salt just a little bit too much and now needs replacing.
I'm having a hard time locating a replacement for this car, the only thing I know is that on my drivers side headers there is a plate that says "Hooker Supercomp".
It's a 2-bolt flange style, and I'm having a super hard time locating a replacement y-pipe for it.
Here's what I'm dealing with right now: http://imgur.com/fz0KqYH (and why I need a new y-pipe). I took it down the street to my local exhaust repair shop and they said they can't touch it unless I get a replacement y-pipe. They said I might be able to get away with using a band clamp but it's not recommended.
If anyone can help me with a part number or a URL to purchase a replacement y-pipe I would be deeply grateful.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
Edit: After doing some research, I believe they are 2055's.. meaning I might be SOL when trying to locate just a y-pipe. Does anyone know where to locate a replacement?
Edit 2: http://imgur.com/qMFqutO band clamp was so far a success.. will need to drive it for a while and see how it holds up so I'm not in a big rush to get a replacement y-pipe as of now.

Edit, that should work. When you said band clamp I was thinking of something narrower.

Re: Need help identifying headers/y-pipe.
Took a quick look at Summit and found the 2055 shorties with a Y-pipe (would assume Hooker pipe)..but didn't look for a separate Y-pipe...but might want to call them, ask if the headers will bolt up to the stock Y pipe without mods...reason I say this, is then you might have the option of finding stock Ypipe, or getting the Hooker pipe.
