Do Hooker 2460 headers fit earlier SBC's?

I'm just wondering if the Hooker Comp 2460 headers will fit on a pre-1980 small block chevy 350/400? I've tried to search but I only find info about installing them on stock engines from 82-92. Anybody know? TIA

Re: Do Hooker 2460 headers fit earlier SBC's?

Yep those headers will fit 1982-92 camaro/firebird chassis with any gen I small block chevy engine.

So thats the 265, 283, 302, 305, 307, 327, 350, 400.

I have used those headers (well the non coated version) on a 1971 350 with 1964 327 heads, 1968 327 with 305 HO heads, 327 with Brodix IK180 heads, 350 with Brodix IK200 heads.

Possibly issues with spark plug boots on vortec heads. The plugs seem to be a 1/4" closer to the exhaust ports. "IF" there were issues it would be nothing a ball peen hammer couldn't fix.

If you go qirh 2460's i would recomend the ceramic coated ones. I got the black painted ones and their high twmp paint is completely gone after a month or two.
