Re: Question about eBay long tube headers
I had these headers to use with a modified T5 Bell housing and then purchased a T56. In my ever changing scheme I sold the headers but was planning to bolt the two together and check the fit before I sold them and I didn’t. Wishing I had and hopefully someone here can verify for you.

Re: Question about eBay long tube headers
I made them fit around my LT1 T56 with some heat and a hammer.

Re: Question about eBay long tube headers
After reading a few related threads the plan was to remove the slave cylinder fork and mounting ear from the bell housing and switch to a Hydraulic TOB to make room for the header to pass through on the drivers side. Thought I had also read somewhere that these headers fit with the T56 setup but I have no proof to backup those claims. They looks almost similar to me so I think the same problem would persist with either trans

Re: Question about eBay long tube headers
This is the same as my car so this is good news. can you confirm they are 1 3/4" primary tubes?
did you have to remove anything during installation (other than jacking the motor up)? if you have a pic of where you have make clearance, that would be super awesome!
