Pics of my exhaust and request help selecting system - why are all kits for autos?

I have a '83 Camaro with a 383. TKO 5 speed manual trans. Whenever I look at options for complete kits, it seems they only fit applications with long headers and automatics.... and I can't find long headers which work with manual trans.

I have these shorty headers: 2460HKR https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hok-2460hkr
I have this Y-Pipe: 16767HKR https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hok-16767hkr

I would like to replace the muffler ... are there any muffler muffler from that Hooker Y-Pipe on back? Does anyone sell the pipe for over the rear axle? The one I have is a transplant from a Firebird and it's been cut and modified..

How much power is your 383 putting out? If its not a monster your everyday 3" catback will work. If its a screamer than id look at 4" mufflex. If its in between than the hooker blaclheart duals.

I like the Hooker Blackheart ... But do they make a kit for F bodies? Or do I have to modify to fit? Thank you for reply. 383 putting out 430hp

Thats right in the sweet spot for the blackheart dual exahust. A set of their new SBC long tubes would probably give you a little power bump over what you are making now. The setup isnt cheap. If you dont want to change headers i would look at any of the 3" catbacks from hooker, flowmaster, etc.

Thanks. I just have yet to find on Summit any long headers which fit a manual. They all say for automatic trans only... Do you know of any part numbers for a '83, SBC w/ manual

the clutch linkage is the concern
Zackly.

The cat-back isn't SO affected, although details in the hanger bracket thing might be a factor. But headers and Y-pipes, depending on their design, where they have to go past the linkage or slave cyl, there's some variation there; and even though they might fit, or probably fit, I'm sure they wouldn't want to list it as "fit" and then have their phone lines and Internet forums and whatnot blow up because of it.
