Why don't you just gut a stock cat and weld a pipe in?

well, from what iv been TOLD. the insides of the stock cat aren't round. therefore a 3" pipe wont fit inside it.. and if i can find a cat that will at least accomadate a 3" pipe, then im gonna stick it in there and JB weld the **** in there... I guess i'll take pics and check for myself whenver i get my headers on..
