Cherry Bomb or similar Muffler Installation

Ok so I had a quick question for any that have used cherry bomb or similar mufflers. My muffler actually just recently fell off somewhere on the interstate, and I was thinking of getting a cherry bomb muffler. However, I don’t have the rest of my exhaust pipe after where the muffler sat. Is my question is as follows. Would one end of the cherry bomb being fastened be strong enough to hold it on, or do I need to also purchase the rest of the pipe and tip in order to properly install the muffler. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

You don't want that exhaust gas going right under your car. You need atleast a tailpipe to get it out the back and a hanger of some sort to support it.

One end support would be too risky.
