This has been like pulling teeth but I know someone can help me. What modds do I have to do to make the Hooker long tubes fit on a 350 tpi? ex. starter, oil filter, etc. Also, does anyone have a picture of the hooder longtubes for our third gens? Thanks,

Well I have "heard" ppl say that they have put the LT's on w/ the OEM starter..even tho I dont see how..

Change the starter.. .. I have a Tommy Johnson Mini starter..

as far as the oil filter goes.. I did have to modify the oil cooler to fit as one of the primary tubes runs right where the lines should be...its a "tight" fit..but works like a champ...

There are some slots inside the oil cooler that I enlongated so I could rotate the housing counter clockwise as much as possile... (when the motor is upside down)

Also had to move (slightly push on) the brake lines to clear as well.. but not much..

Are you happy with these headers? Did they take up alot of ground clearance? Finnaly, do you have any pics of them uninstalled? Thanks

 

Yes..Im very happy w/ these headers..

Couldnt find a pic w/ the headers outta of the car.. I have one somewhere..just gotta find it.. but I do have one w/ the ground clearance..
