problem with TES headers

problem with TES headers

I put on my edelbrock TES headers and on the passenger side ther bracket from i thin its the 3rd header bolt that goes to the compresser doesn't fit anymore. does anyone know wut i can do or if its alirght to leave it off. thanks

the stock manifolds came out about and inch and were on a slight angle and the headers are just flat. i have drove the car around without the braket but it still worries me

You need a longer bolt and a sleeve type spacer there should have been some with the headers. They look like Tubes or the sleeves on swaybar endlinks.

yea i tried them but it still didn't seem to wunt to fit right.

maybe but i think my problem was that the braket had to be angled. do u have these headers? whats did u do to get yours on

I had to bend my bracket just a little, per the instructions.

I put mine on my '84 I don't think I have the same brackets mine was a V belt rig.
