Does anyone have a Dynomax catback or a Dynomax superturbo muffler on there car, How do you like it? Does anyone know where I can find a sound clip besides the Dynomax site?

Do you have exhaust manifolds and cats? I plan on gutting my cat and putting headers on, but I still whant to have a nice sound with a low rumble and no rasping sound. Do you think that the Superturbo muffler would do this?

I still have the stock manifolds and cat, and its not much louder then stock. It does have a nice low bass tone at idle

i had a mild 350 in my car at the time with a little bit of a cam in it. i had TES headers and a dynomax super turbo cat-back and it sounded completely stock. changed the muffler to a flowmaster 80 series 2 days later. still got the pretty much brand new dyno. sittin in my attic.

I RUN TWO SUPER TURBOS, AND HAVE FOR 12 YEARS.

ON MY 84 BIG BLAZER WITH A STOCK EXHAUST SYSTEM, THERE IS A SLIGHT NOISE INCREASE INSIDE, AND A NICE MELLOW DEEP TONE ALL THE TIME WHEN YOU ARE OUTSIDE. IT RUNS 10 MILES TO WORK ONE WAY, AND THE MUFFLER LASTS 80 TO 100,000 MILES.

ON MY 86 TRANS AM, I RUN A 406 WITH SLP 1 3/4 HEADERS THRU A HI FLOW CAT, A 3 INCH FACTORY PIPE, AND OUT THE BACK (SMALL PIPES). IT HAS A NICE SOUND WHEN YOU ARE OUTSIDE AND IT IS DRIVING AWAY. INSIDE, IT IS A DEEP RUMBLE ALL THE TIME. YOU KEEP THINKING IF IT IS THIS LOUD OUTSIDE, WHY AREN'T THE COPS STOPPING ME ?? CARRYING MORE WEIGHT IN THE CAR MAKES IT RUNBLE EVEN MORE. THIS MUFFLER HAD 20,000 MILES ON IT WHEN I DID THE ENGINE SWAP.

ONE MORE IMPORTANT THING. THE DYNOMAX IS WARRANTED LIKE A LIFE TIME MUFFLER. SO WHEN IT RUSTS OUT, TAKE IT BACK TO THE SHOP WITH YOUR ORIGINAL RECEIPT, AND THEY WILL REPLACE IT. OF COURSE, IT DOES NOT COVER THE PIPES, AND THE TWO REAR PIPES ARE $65 EACH HERE IN IOWA IN A SMALL TOWN. THE SHOP HERE THOUGHT IF YOU BOUGHT IT MAIL ORDER, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET A FREE REPLACEMENT IF YOU HAD THE RECEIPT. THEY SAID THEY MAIL THE RECEIPT IN AN GET THEIR MONEY BACK.
