catback exhaust

I have a 1991 Z28 with a 350 TPI. I have a Borla cat back exhaust, but I think it's too quiet and I don't like it because it has two tail pipes off to one side. I would like something symetrical and and a little louder, but not overly loud. I was thinking about flowmaster turn-downs, but they may be a little much. Does Borla make something different than what I have? Suggestions for other brands of cat backs? Thanks a lot.

I'd suggest the Hooker cat-back, sounds good and looks good to me. There's a sound clip in my signature of it.

I like my flowmaster (love rather) single in/out, but if you want to get a hooker cheap (hehe) they're on gp over on camaroz.28.com .

Random Technology is the way to go if you want sound and performance. If all you want is sound go with Flowmaster. Flowmaster sounds pretty good but it is too restrictive. Gained 7 HP when I switched to Random Technology.

Here's how it looks now. I like things symetrical though.

I'm not sure how it translates to HP, but on the G-Tech I picked up 2 mph in the 1/4.
