Hatch pull down reverse switch

I'm looking for a working revering hatch switch for my 87 GTA, It's mounted on the motor in side the trunk. I think but I maybe wrong that 86-90 years are all the same. It must have a steel backing plate

Find a late 80’s-90’s Cadillac, and get the trunk pull down assembly. Everything you need is there..

I paid less than $10.00 for mine, which fixed my ‘88 IROC two years ago. Still working great.

Re: Hatch pull down reverse switch

Use the whole motor or just the parts from it?

I used it for parts. Even the gears are the same on my ‘88.

I honestly don’t recall...but do I remember correctly that the pull downs are different between Camaro and Firebird?

Many parts can be used from the Caddys of that vintage. However the reversing switch and striker-sensing switch are not. Those are specific to the 86-early91 Camaro and Firebird. Both the switches I've mentioned are long discontinued by GM. I do my best to keep them in stock and available on my web site.

www.top-downsolutions.com

I sell the 86-early91 reversing switch as TDS 205180.
The 86-87 striker sensing switch is TDS 206180.
The 88-early91 striker sensing switch is TDS 207180.

Also the better my customers are at returning their reversing switches, the easier it us for me to keep refurbishing them and having them available for another customer.
