t/a hood grills !~ cold air intake?
I've been wanting to upgrade my air intake sys. and just havn't found anything I like.
I was wondering If anyone has tried to modify the air grills on a stock t/a hood to operate as cold air engine intake? Could the "Y" air intake off of a thrid gen camaro work? Just flip it over, to collect air from the hood?
What do you think? any chance?

There is no room between the rad support and hood.

No.
The hood /fenders on Trans Ams are sloped quite a bit more.

I looked into this,
you have to move the rad down or have the hood lifted to get the right clearance.
Try putting a piece of styrofoam underneath the hood and close it where the intake tube would be, it will crush it.
