I have searched off and on all day and I can't seem to find the thread that stated who was making custom aluminum ground effects for the front fenders. I have a 92 Firebird with the Trans Am/GTA package.

Any ideas on who this was?

 

that was eddy from austin tx. look on austinthirdgen.org should find him pretty easy, probably got a red bird in his sig

i just looked that very thread up the other day and tried PMing him, but haven't heard back yet. maybe I should contact him on the austin thirdgen board. I believe the piece he made was out of steel though rather than aluminum.

Yes sir, it's been ***** to the wall at work lately and my daughter could come any day now. I've been trying to get everything set up....you should have seen me trying to figure out how to get the car seat strapped into the back of my wife's truck this afternoon.

I did have a little free time this weekend to paint my wheels, do a brake job, and replace the plugs & coil on my car. But, I don't have the tools/equipment at home to make the GFX pieces.

Oh, and I made them out of either 24 or 26 gauge galvanized steel (I can't remember). I will get to it as soon as I get the time.
