Custom SFC's

i know there are many threads about aftermarket sfc's and custom made, i am hoping to make my own most likely out of box tubing. or maybe roll cage steel, my question is does anyone have any rough demensions for sfc's for an auto z28? i know i can go out under my car and measure but it is a shell right now due to my motor rebuild, and its very cold and uncomfortable in a stone driveway haha. any help is apprieciated. - Ray

Home made. Not as intricate as FueldSouls (because I had no room for the inside SFCs)

Bundle up and get to measuring

Personally, Id get a pre-made set because they're all around $200. Factoring time and materials in, you wont be far off that in your custom set unless you have additional needs. For mine, I needed a rearward trans mount for the 4L80E crossmember and a torque arm mount. None of the options suited, so I built these

Being an empty shell doesnt mean you cant install the SFCs. Just ensure the doors open/close properly. 3rd gens are a floppy noodle without SFCs and they help greatly, but dont expect it to be as solid as a rock with a handful of short tubes welded in the middle
