Homemade Camaro gauge cluster rings
Hand cranked on a manual lathe...

Just need to do two more smaller rings for the center gauges

Those look awesome! I have always thought that I would use Twist Machines gauge bezels if I upgrade to aftermarket gauges at some point. I def try and sell them... I'm sure you got a buddy that could write a program for them and spit out pieces for you with a lot less time involved.
Might think of a similar design to this if you continue with this....

those look very nice, I remember someone had done something similar for the bird dashes. good way of upgrading the look of the dash without having to get all new gauges.

Re: Homemade Camaro gauge cluster rings
yup iv seen them before too they look really nice i wish i could go thicker and wider but i'm limited on the space... I agree that's why i made these rings. Im keeping most of the interior stock but tweaking everything to make it look more exotic

Re: Homemade Camaro gauge cluster rings
OP those look good.IF your interested PM me if you do decide to make more. I might be able to help ya out. (cnc lathe made ) Im making a set and a totally diff. design as a 1 piece look where all the round guages interconnect where they get close to each other.
Yep, Ive made a few of those sets sold on here along with a few other things in aluminum.
The problem is most people say I want, I want. but when it comes time to buy in. Not many do. This is my everything I do now is One off parts when I get a serious interest.

Re: Homemade Camaro gauge cluster rings
The blueprints where a great guide but i had to change nearly all the measurements to keep from toasting them on the lathe... turning these on a manual lathe sucked... to bad you didn't want to make me a set... but thanks again man!

Re: Homemade Camaro gauge cluster rings
anymore update! got me tuned in for sure, looks kinda like something you'd see in a 1st gen IMO
Re: Homemade Camaro gauge cluster rings
These look incredible for a manual lathe from the Medieval Machine Shoppe! You are a craftsman, sir! This was the kind of stuff you would see knocked out all over in the 1960s, but no one seems interested in doing artisan stuff like this anymore...and then we come across guys like this!

Re: Homemade Camaro gauge cluster rings
Since I got my thirdgen I thought the guages would look better with bezels. Really nice to see someone not only had the same vision but executed it. They look great! I might be in for a set too.

They look great Luis, I may have to buy a set for the Iroc ...
Luis did a great job on the T/A rings- they fit perfect, look great.
